DEVELOPMENT
Navigating multiple luxury markets, including home, fragrance and liquor, is no easy task; especially for a brand as ambitious as Wickers Creek. Deeply inspired by their roots in the Hudson Valley and just as rough as they are refines - building a look and feel for this brand meant rethinking the very concept of luxury. The end result is brand image deeply rooted in the beauty of texture and artisan craftsmanship .
FIVE GRAIN
BOURBON WHISKEY
Made in collaboration with renowned designer Chad Lavigne, whom creative directed the project, the Wickers Creek Bourbon Whiskey label was the first product to come out of the Wickers Creek start up brand. Only fifty bottles are in existence.
LABEL
DETAILS
Using the brand colors black and cream, as well as a gold emboss, for our color palette - the end result perfectly encapsulates the modern, distressed and luxurious strong brand identity of Wickers Creek. This is accompanied by the unique diamond shape and hand drawn lines to really exude the visual identity through design. All of these elements are then grounded in the handmade, distressed, logotype and typeface.
ARTISAN
SCENTED CANDLES
Unlike the Bourbon, the candles from Wickers Creek have multiple scents across multiple thematic palettes; it was important to build a label stack that would work across all SKUs. The graphic treatment of Wickers Creek is the through line that connects our different scents and products, no matter how unique.
BOX
DESIGN DETAILS
Largely inspired by the look of indie movie posters and key art design - the type on the back of the Wickers Creek Candle is meant feel as upscale as it is rustic. The box calls back to a time when type design was done by hand and those are those are the artisans and doers meant to be enticed by this product
